Onboarding European loan portfolios with external servicers
Leading data initiatives across business, technology and servicing teams.
Context
New European non-performing-loan portfolios, mainly from Spain, Italy and Germany, arrived from servicers in differing formats and needed to fit one internal model.
My contribution
As the principal data contact, onboarded approximately 10–20 portfolios; negotiated reporting templates with external servicers, documented source-to-target mappings and normalized heterogeneous fields. Led data initiatives across business, technology and servicing teams.
Approach
Agreed templates up front, documented the mappings, and validated loads before release.
Value
Portfolios entered the trading desks’ reporting on a consistent, documented footing.
